// 2023-11-18 - Rebuilding the Syn9's Hideout Website

TLDR; I'm rebuilding my website from scratch to host all my projects outside of social media. It feels good.

> I've started rebuilding my website from scratch. It's been a long time since I've had a dedicated website and contributed to a gamedev community. I feel like everything gets lost on social media and I'd like to have all my projects together in one space that is personalized.

> I've also been pushing hard to be more open with my development progress and have been running a large development log on the Rust Gamedev discord server for my Galaxion game. I'd like to publish that in a more accessible place and have decided to host it here, which requires quite a bit of updates to the site.

> This was also a really good experience because it required me to cleanup my webserver, I found soooo many old projects that weren't shown, and it brought back tons of memories of the old QB/FB days. I hope to get a lot of the projects on here rendering on web or at least downloadable and playable.

> Right now the entire site is hand coded, but I hope to create a static site generator in rustlang to make updating and expanding easier. I also hope to expand this website with resource bookmarks as well.

> Feel free to drop me a line on my social media or in my discord server.
